allow passing params directly to macros when referencing them
{{4:MacroName}('MySpecialParam')}
or something like that

Artem Avdonin AdminMacros used in scripts simply getting replaced with their body before flow execution. There is not logic behind them just simple text pasting.
This doesn't mean that you can't parameterize login in your macro by creating function inside of it and then use it in your code. Example can be found in this article https://support.etlworks.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014095633#Passingparameterstomacros
